ROOT SPORTS ANNOUNCES PENGUINS FIRST-ROUND PLAYOFF SCHEDULE

Schedule includes live first-round Penguins Playoff games and
updated Pirates game on ROOT SPORTS

ROOT SPORTS, the exclusive rights-holder for Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Pirates regional telecasts, announced today its updated live game schedule as it relates to the Penguins first-round Stanley Cup playoff series starting Wed., April 11, 2012 against the Philadelphia Flyers.  ROOT SPORTS will produce and carry the Penguins first-round playoff games including a special one-hour Penguins Pregame presented by TRIB Total Media before each game. Penguins’ playoff games on ROOT SPORTS will alter at least one previously-scheduled televised Pirates game on Friday, April 13.  ROOT SPORTS will pick up additional Pirates game to be announced later in the season to assure the station’s commitment to telecasting 150 Pirates games in the 2012 season.
