ROOT SPORTS DEBUTS NEW INSIDE PENGUINS HOCKEY SERIES
NETWORK EXPANDS PENGUINS COVERAGE WITH NEW INSIDER SERIES
DEBUTING FRIDAY, JANUARY 25TH AFTER PENGUINS POSTGAME
ROOT SPORTS™, the exclusive rights holder of Pittsburgh Penguins regional hockey game telecasts, announced the expansion of its Penguins coverage this season with a new series, Inside Penguins Hockey, which takes viewers inside the game, inside the locker room and inside the lives of their favorite Penguins players all season long.
Debuting Friday, January 25 after Penguins Postgame on ROOT SPORTS, the 30-minute insider show will provide fans with exclusive footage of their Pittsburgh Penguins both on and off the ice, going on the road with the team, providing exclusive player interviews, reliving some of the greatest and most unique moments in Penguins history and much more.
During the premier season of Inside Penguins Hockey, fans will be treated to some memorable moments and stories from outside of the hockey rink, including a fly fishing trip with Coach Dan Bylsma, a guided tour of St. Louis from native Joe Vitale, a behind-the-scenes look at Eddie Olczyk’s induction into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, and a special visit with Mark Recchi and Bob Errey’s kids as they begin to follow in their fathers’ famous footsteps.
