Network to Air 39 Pirates & Penguins Games Equaling Over 150 Hours of LIVE Sports

ROOT SPORTS™, the exclusive rights holder to Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins regional game telecasts, announced today their extensive line-up of Bucs and Pucks programming throughout April.  The month will consist of 39 pro-games produced by the network - 28 Pirates games and 11 Penguins games - including four Pirates and Penguins doubleheaders and five games which will air simultaneously.  During the concurrent games, the Penguins will be available on ROOT SPORTS’ main channel and a special ROOT SPORTS production of the Pirates game can be seen on MLB Network.  Click here for ROOT SPORTS’ April schedule of doubleheaders and concurrent games and the full Pittsburgh Pirates 2013 season broadcast schedule
