ROOT SPORTS' 17th season of McDonald’s High School Football presented by TRIB Total Media continues this Thursday from Murrysville as the Franklin Regional Panthers host the Hampton Talbots.  These two Triple-A rivals will face-off with postseason positioning in mind with both teams looking to move up in the Greater Allegheny Conference standings and bring the playoffs to their home field.
Over the past few years, Franklin Regional has been one of the best Triple-A teams in the WPIAL, going 32-8 since 2010.  One of those eight losses came from the Hampton Talbots, who beat the Panthers 17-13 last season at Fridley Field. Franklin Regional comes into Thursday night’s match-up looking to avenge that loss with the help of senior Charan Singh, who’s transition from wide receiver to quarterback this year has helped the Panthers to a 6-1 start.

The action kicks-off in High-Definition this Thursday after Penguins Postgame on ROOT SPORTS. Check your local listings for channel information.
